Biggin Church in Moncks Corner, SC
The Biggin Church Remains are church ruins in Berkeley County, South Carolina. The USGS Geographic Names Information System calls it Biggin Church. Near the crossroads of South Carolina Highway 402 and State Highway 8-376, the remains are about 2 miles from Moncks Corner, South Carolina. Since its construction in about 1711, the church has been burnt three times. It was the parish church of St. John's in Berkeley. The ruins are from a church that was erected in 1761 and rebuilt in 1781. On December 13, 1977, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. These old church ruins are interesting to look at because they are old and elegant. There are several antique graves in the cemetery surrounding it.
SC average gas prices see double digit climb
According to the WMBF news, gas prices are expected to rise, with the state average approaching $4. According to GasBuddy's survey of more than 3,000 gas stations in the state, the average price per gallon has increased by 16.6 cents to $3.99. This is up 25.4 cents per gallon from a month ago and $1.33 from a year ago. "Not only are diesel prices at an all-time high, but they're also at their highest gasoline price gap on record, exceeding the 98-cent margin in 2008 and now standing at a $1.20 per gallon premium," De Haan added. "While gasoline prices have increased little, the leap in diesel costs will be a double whammy, as diesel prices will soon be transferred to retail channels, significantly raising the cost of goods."
